ENGLISH’S TRAILERS SALES & SERVICE Inc. was founded over 40 years ago by Mr. Robert English & Family as a Service Center. They initially service and repair all types of trailers and offered hitch installation. They also had licensed mechanics to do all type of vehicle work. Gradually they went into the trailer retail business offering a range of horse, livestock and different types of utility trailers.
The late Mr. English sold the business in 2008 to Unitrail Inc. owned and founded in 1995 by the Meloche Family from Vaudreuil, Quebec. Unitrail is one of Eastern Canada most important trailer wholesaler that offer trailers of all kind, snow removal, truck and nautical equipment.
Today, ENGLISH’S TRAILERS is still going strong with its trailer retail and service center that offers a complete range of commercial and recreational trailers ranging from 900 to 24,000 lbs and a selection of salt spreaders as well as dump insert for pick-up trucks. We also continue to offer a wide array of services, such as certified inspections and general mechanics servicing trailer, cars, trucks, campers & trailer tents, as well as hitch and brake control installation.

We are conveniently located on Highway 35 South in Lindsay, Ontario providing very easy access to all. Our newly 2012 renovated location now has a new 60’x 60’ service shop and benefits from a very large newly renovated part & accessory store & showroom.
